Foundation Orchestra e Coro Sinfonico di Milano Giuseppe Verdi is announcing a selection process for the filling of fixed-term positions in the following roles:
  • 2 places for VIOLIN IN A ROW
  • 1 place for FIRST OBOE WITH MANDATORY ROW
  • 1 place for FIRST TRUMPET WITH MANDATORY ROW
  • 1 place for SECOND TRUMPET WITH OBLIGATION OF THE FIRST AND THE ROW
  • 1 place for FIRST TIMPANO WITH MANDATORY ROW
EXAM DATES
The exam tests will take place at the Auditorium of Milan Fondazione Cariplo, largo G. Mahler, artists' entrance, via E. Torricelli, 2, 20136 Milan according to the following PROVISIONAL schedule:
  • VIOLIN IN A ROW
    • 25/08 FIRST TEST
    • 26/08 SECOND TEST
  • SECOND TRUMPET
    • 27/08 FIRST TEST
    • 28/08 SECOND TEST
  • FIRST OBOE
    • 01/09 FIRST TEST
    • 03/09 SECOND TEST
  • FIRST TRUMPET
    • 02/09 FIRST TEST
    • 03/09 SECOND TEST
  • FIRST TIMPANO
    • 02/09 FIRST TEST
    • 03/09 SECOND TEST
    The final date and time of the first test will be communicated via email to all those admitted to the selection process once the applications have closed.

    All candidates must submit their application to participate no later than August 15, 2026 via the online platform


    Participation in the selection process is free; candidates will be responsible for their own travel and accommodation expenses.

Today, with the 2026/27 Season approaching, we are aiming for a new goal: to raise €30,000 to renew the Orchestra’s percussion instruments and continue ensuring the artistic excellence of our concerts.
